Time Frame


Q. How long does it take to complete the project?

A. 8-10 weeks is the typical time frame from start to finish for an Escape package. 

Q. What is the process for buying a Florida Outdoor Kitchen?

A. We make the process as quick and easy as possible, from your first in store visit, to the home assembly of your Florida Outdoor Kitchen. For a fully comprehensive guide on the process, click here. (Link the specific blog)

Q. I am waiting for a pool/patio/pergola/house closing; If I purchase now to take advantage of the sale, how long can you hold the order for?

A. All our cabinets are made to order, a hold of up to 90 days can be made at the time of sale, longer holds are possible with approval.

Q. I just ordered my Escape… when will I receive it?

A. All orders are shipped from our facility located in Central Florida within 14 business days. Ship times can vary by location, however, orders shipping within Florida typically arrive within 3 – 6 business days. You can expect to be relaxing at your Escape within 8-10 weeks after placing your order.


Purchasing


Q. Can I pay 50% now and 50% when completed?

A. We are a retail business and, just like a typical furniture store, we require full payment at the time of purchase. In reality, we start the cabinet manufacturing process immediately and typically your order is delivered to your home within 14-21 days.

Q. Do you offer finance?

A. We do! We now offer No Monthly Interest for 48 months*. Talk to one of our Escapeologists for more information. 


Home Assembly


Q. Do you have home assembly services available?

A. Our home assembly team works closely with our products to ensure that your Escape can be installed the way it was designed. Interested? Just ask your Escapologist about scheduling installation! 

Q. Do you hook up the propane, water & electric?

A. We install all the appliances that we sell but connecting them to water, gas and electric requires a licensed technician. Everything that requires electricity can be run off a standard 110 extension cable but if you require it to be hard wired you will need an electrician. We also sell a self-contained water system if water supply and drainage is an issue. Everything is ready to be connected to the gas source; if you’re using an LP tank you can connect it yourself, or if you are connecting natural gas, you should consult a licensed gas technician.

Q. Can you come over and confirm that my purchase will fit?

A. Of course! Our VM (verification measure) is in place to make sure that your outdoor kitchen will fit. We will be able to advise on the general location of utilities relative to the design, but as the water pipes, gas pipes and electrical may require a licensed technician, we are unable to provide precise locations for these.

Q. Do I have to run utility lines for my Escape?

A. We offer a variety of Escapes with configurations that do not require utility lines. Your Escapologist can help outfit you with the perfect match for your needs!


Maintenance, Materials & Durability


Q. How do I maintain my Florida Outdoor Kitchen?

A. Maintenance is the only way you’ll keep your outdoor kitchen (any anything for that matter) looking it’s fantastic best for many years to come. Q. How often should I clean my cabinets? What do I use to clean them?

A. We recommend cleaning your Escape a few times a month (more frequently if you live in a saltwater environment). Wash your cabinets with water and a soft cloth or sponge. A mild dishwashing liquid can be used if needed. Stainless steel surfaces should be cleaned regularly using mild soap and warm water. With regular cleaning, your cabinets will look like new for many years!

Q. What are the cabinets made from?

A. All our cabinets are made from marine-grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE), making them strong and weather resistant. It’s the same material they use for boat docks, so you can be sure your cabinets will show the elements who’s boss.

Q. Do I have to use your decorative hardware? 

A. Yes. Our hardware is tested and proven to stand up to the same weather conditions as our cabinetry. In order to maintain your warranty, you must use our decorative hardware with your cabinets. 

Q. Are your hinges and decorative hardware rust-proof?

A. All metal surfaces on our cabinets and appliances are made of stainless steel and are rated to withstand outdoor applications when properly maintained. If you experience a problem with your hardware, please let your Escapologist know right away and they will assist you with resolving the issue.


Warranty


Q. Does my Florida Outdoor Kitchen come with a warranty?

A. It sure does. All our cabinets come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Q. What does my warranty cover?

A. Your new Escape comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, which covers defective items and damage that may occur during transit. Your warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, natural aging, accidents, or misuse. Your Escapologist will prepare you for maintaining your warranty and proper upkeep of your Escape. 

Q. How do I report a warranty claim? 

A. To report a Warranty Claim, please contact your Escapologist. They will work with you to gather all necessary information and photos and resolve any issues that may arise. 

Q. What do I do if my appliance or cabinetry is damaged upon delivery?  

A. If you receive a damaged item with your order, our dedicated customer service team is here to assist. Simply reach out to your Escapologist within 72 hours to inform them of the damages, and our team will do the rest! Replacement orders are expedited to ensure your project can be completed in a timely manner. 


Orders & Shipping


Q. How can I track my order?

A. For order updates, please contact your Escapologist. They will be able to provide you with the most up-to-date information and will advise of any updates while you are waiting to receive your Escape. 

Q. Will my appliances ship at the same time as my cabinets?

A. Your appliances and cabinetry will ship and arrive at the same time to ensure that the home assembly team can complete install of your Escape upon delivery.

Q. What do I need to have ready before my Escape is delivered?

A. Before you receive your new Escape, you will want to ensure that your space is ready for the Escape to be installed. This includes a clean level surface, and having any needed utility lines ready for hookup.

Q. How do I find my order number?

A. Your order number can be found on the top right side of your receipt. 

Q. Can my order be expedited?

A. We strive to have one of the most competitive lead times in the industry and work diligently to produce your made-to-order cabinetry as quickly as possible.

Q. If I need to have replacement items sent, can the replacement order be expedited?

A. Replacement orders have an expedited lead time; however, they are subject to a standard shipping time.


Other


Q. Can I use my own grill?

A. We carry a full selection of grills (for a complete run down on our grill offerings, please click here). If you wanted to install your own grill, we can design around it, although it will require the manufacturer’s own insulated liner to be installed in our cabinets.

Q. Do the appliances come with the cabinetry?

A. Our Escapes are a complete package including everything you will need to enhance your outdoor space. You’ll work with your Escapologist to create a space that meets all your needs and brings a little slice of paradise to your backyard.
